Trying to Apply to this NightMare called ObamaCare

Despite the fact that I have been against this whole Obamacare craziness ever since it was first vomited out to the American Public, I decided that I would go ahead and sign up considering that I am 35, married with two kids and we all need insurance. We haven't had any insurance for a longtime here in Tennessee because my wife and I were cut from the Tenncare rolls years back. Which was fine by me BTW because I've not had any real need of a doctor for some time any how and my kids were left on Tenncare. I've been listening to this drivel for months now about how easy it is suppose to be to sign up for BrokenCare that was pushed on the American People by Big Brother Obama. I swear if this man gets any more communist I will puke! And before anyone reading decides to start figuring me as part of that crazy-ass Conservative GOP -- swine, let be clear that I am no more convinced or enthusiastic with their policies than the Democrats!

So, now that I have cleared up any questions or speculation about my personal politics, let me get on with the story!

Broken Care by Our Good Friend "Obama"

(Which, as a side note, has always sounded too similar to "Osama" for my tastes!) As a matter of fact I think if you were to put a beard and Turban on him, he would certainly pass as the same person. But Alas, I must digress and focus on the topic at hand...

The un-Affordable Care Act!

I say unaffordable because it does not take a lot of snooping around the Internet to find people that have been dropped from their insurance plans only to find out that the Affordable Care Insurance is going to cost them twice as much!
Oh  - Don't get me wrong not everyone is going to have to pay twice as much. In fact, there will be a SIZABLE turnout of people who don't work and don't want to work.  Lacking job skills and/or  higher education means that they will get better pay from welfare subsidies than holding a job.

 These people earn  nearly  nothing throughout the year, yet the federal government will send them a FAT income tax return from the IRS for guess what????

 Nightmare Obamacare - Signing up

 So I sit down in front of my laptop and browse over to that Kick-Ass, AMAZING website that President OSAMA, I mean Obama, had created for his signature communist care flop program.
 It starts off with a dropdown menu that allows me  to select my State. I chose "Tennessee."

So far so good right? I selected my state and then clicked apply.

Next  I'm at this page!

Healthcare.com has a lot of Visitors right now! We need you to wait here, so we can make sure that there's room for you to have a good experience!

 Also there was  a place on there that allowed me to put in my email address on the promise that that they would get back to me when there was an open slot. So I placed my email in there, left perused the suggested documents.I returned, reloaded the page and tried again, and checked my email and tried again and checked my email etcetera, etcetera!

NOTHING!

Now I understand that the website was getting hit pretty heavy with people trying to get online and sign up for BrokenCare in the hopes of keeping Uncle Obama out of their pockets come next Tax Season - or at least keep him from digging any deeper;  But The Obamanites knew this was going to happen! It happened when they first tried to roll this thing out. they responded to the first website flop by bringing in "the industries best IT professionals," according to a soundbite I head played on Public Radio.

 I don't recall the names of these IT professionals but as an IT professional myself, and from my experience and knowledge of IT technology, Websites, Information protocols such as HTTP, TCP, etcetera, that there is really no reason that the Obamanites should have ever had a website that could not handle the load! With the amount of money they have available to spend on equipment they should have been able to bring up a system robust enough to handle the traffic. Think about this - Other large online entities handle this type of traffic everyday - Google, Bing, Yahoo.
